Spiral Plate

A handbuilt decorative plate in black stoneware, finished with a single white spiral painted in one continuous motion using a traditional rice straw brush. The white is engobe; the clay is left unglazed. The contrast between the dark surface and the brushstroke stays sharp. Decorative only. Works as a shelf piece, or a tray for keys, rings, or small things.
