Care Instructions

Every piece I create is handcrafted using high-fire stoneware, making the pieces exceptionally durable. However, because each item incorporates unique finishes, textures, or organic attachments, they require different levels of care.

As each piece is unique, please always check the specific care note in the individual description of the product you have purchased for instructions on how to best care for your item.

For Functional Stoneware

I highly recommend hand-washing with mild soap. While the stoneware is technically resilient, the abrasive nature of dishwashers can, over time, dull the raw textures and finish of handcrafted surfaces.

Please avoid sudden thermal shocks, such as moving a piece directly from extreme cold to extreme heat. I generally advise against using my ceramics in the microwave, as sudden, uneven heat can stress the clay and damage the finish, even if it is high-fire stoneware.

For Pieces with Natural Elements or Delicate Finishes:

Items that incorporate wood, rope, or raw, unsealed textures should never be submerged in water or placed in the dishwasher.
